Meet the Team

stephanie

Founder
Steph founded this studio because she genuinely believes Pilates should be accessible to everyone. Her journey with Pilates started in 2010 when she trained with Polestar Pilates as a Comprehensive Instructor whilst living in New Zealand, and she fell in love with how transformative the practice could be. In 2014, she completed several qualifications in dynamic Pilates for fitness, deepening her knowledge across different Pilates disciplines and methods. From day one, she's been committed to creating a kind and welcoming space where people feel supported and part of a real community. That vision extends to building a highly skilled team of instructors who share a genuine passion for the Pilates method.
With a BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy degree completed in 2003, combined with years working as a sports therapist, Steph has genuine anatomical knowledge woven through everything she teaches. During her time in New Zealand, she worked with a sports medicine clinic and trained top-tier athletes in rugby, CrossFit, football, and cricket. She's also completed specialised training in Pilates for injuries and pathology, giving her a comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation and injury prevention that shapes her approach to functional movement and intelligent training.
Steph is committed to creating a mindful, embodied movement experience where everyone feels welcome, whether you're discovering Pilates for the first time or looking to deepen your practice. Her focus is on helping you build genuine strength and confidence through supportive, transformative classes that create a deeper connection to your body. Most importantly, she's built a studio where community thrives. Clients become friends and support each other on their movement journey.

Emily

Emily came to Pilates following abdominal surgery for fibroid removal and a lower back injury. She was expecting rehab and recovery, but what she found was so much more. Pilates transformed not just her body, but how she felt mentally and emotionally too.
That experience was a turning point. She decided to retrain as a Pilates instructor, shifting from her previous role as a project manager in the media industry. She qualified as a Comprehensive Instructor with Polestar Pilates in 2019 and also holds pre and post natal qualifications.
For Emily, Pilates is fundamentally about making her clients feel genuinely good. Whether it's recovering from injury, improving mobility and flexibility, building core strength, or supporting mental health, she's passionate about what movement can do. She teaches both private sessions and group reformer classes.

KIM

Kim discovered Pilates in 2005 when she was pregnant with her second child and struggling with hip and lower back pain. One class changed everything and she felt the difference immediately. Nearly two decades later, it's still a core part of her life.
After years as a dedicated client, she retrained as an instructor qualified as a Comprehensive with BASI™ in 2023. She has a particular interest in women's health and using movement to facilitate healthy ageing. Her specialist Pilates training covers injuries and pathologies.
What really drives her is seeing how precise movements create real, tangible results. She loves watching clients discover what their bodies are capable of when they understand the fundamentals.
Kim teaches everyone from complete beginners to experienced movers, with a particular interest in movement and healthy ageing. Her classes are thoughtful and thorough, but never intimidating. She makes sure you feel supported every step of the way.
